The Omron HR-100C Heart Rate Monitor is easy to program and a cinch to wear with a ventilated watch band.
The 305 was a winner for me when it came to choosing between the various forerunners. I needed something that I could run with and also something that I could also use when out cycling (because I am a cheapskate!)
I found a cheap quik release bike mount kit on amazon which lets me changeover form bike to run quickly in triathlons – something that neither the 405 or 110 supports.
