The Suunto T6c was the answer to other successful monitors such as the Polar F11 and the Garmin 305. It also comes with many innovative features that really make it a must have for professional athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike. The Suunto T6c is a professional heart rate monitor that comes with guidance and analysis tools for training. In simple terms, it monitors, analyzes and optimizes workouts. One of the biggest features on this Suunto heart rate monitor is its’ ability to work with the Training Manager PC Software. What this does is give the most accurate feedback and analysis that were only previously done in sports laboratories. It breaks down every part of your training so that you can see where adjustments need to be made.

The Suunto T6c also is able to display average heart rate and gives readings on the calories that are burnt up during workouts. It is also water resistant to a staggering 330 feet and comes with a two year warranty that is far better than most other heart rate monitor brands out there.

Shortfalls and Overall Assessment of the Suunto T6c

One of the problems that have been noticed by buyers is the poor after sales service carried out by the Suunto Company. This however is a work in progress situation for the Company. The other problem faced by a handful of users lies with the Suunto Heart Rate belt that accompanies the monitor. Both these are not really problems that are hard to solve.

Overall, for all you get with the Suunto T6c, you are assured of a really great heart rate monitor watch. On Amazon.com, the T6c is rated at a high 4 stars out of five by users. This speaks volumes of Suunto’s commitment to a quality heart rate monitor.
