FR60 Garmin Heart Rate Monitor
This monitor is great for either tracking your workouts indoors or out. Its simple design will automatically give the notion that it is cheap but that is where most will be wrong. The technology and features on this heart monitor is second to none. It easily keeps track of your workout distance and time, the calories you have burned off, your heart rate which is most important and information from other linked devices such as the wireless heart monitor belt.
Garmin has a unique ANT+ technology that collects all the data from devices such as the foot pod and transfers it to your computer. By transferring data to your PC, it allows you to further analyze your data and see where improvements can be made. This is a great feature for athletes and sports people looking to excel in their sports. Do note that all this is done wirelessly so there is no hassle and loose wire lying around.
More Great Features
Up to fifteen hours and one hundred laps of detailed workout data can be stored or recorded and tracked on the Garmin FR60 watch heart monitor. The great thing about this heart monitor is that it can also be used by swimmers and cyclers making it an all round heart rate monitor. This is a rare feat for many heart rate monitors out there.

Garmin FR60
I bought this in October of 2009 and overall I'm pleased. The size of the foot pod is the main benefit as it's much less clunky than Polar's version.
I'm not so pleased with the accuracy though. I find that if my pace varies between two runs over the same distance, up to a 1km difference often is the result.
I've calibrated the foot pod at a track, but still find the accuracy depends on how close my pace is to my calibration pace.
I hope the heart rate monitor is more accurate!
